As a portrait photographer I find inspiration in people and the world around us and I love documenting what I see, and I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to indulge my passion. I find it fascinating to capture people’s character and personality in a portrait.
I love to work outdoors using natural light and this is reflected in my style that is both contemporary and fresh, and I will work closely with you to source the right location to best suit your needs so that your lifestyle shoot is relaxed and enjoyable.
My studio has an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and my style is natural and modern. When you arrive we can discuss together any ideas you may have for the session. Good portrait photography shouldn’t be hurried so the session will take two to three hours.
Choosing your clothing and props is important. Give thought to what you are planning to wear and avoid logos, stripes, distracting patterns or clashing colour combinations. Textured clothing for autumn and winter such as sweaters and cords. For spring and summer girls look great in little slip dresses and boys in denim jeans with T-shirts or shirts, linen always looks good too. Bare feet are always preferred in the studio so avoid the dreaded flip flops. I suggest you bring two or three changes of clothing; hats, scarves, wellies, umbrellas, dressing up outfits for children, and favourite toys all make great props.
As well as taking portraits for children and families, I am always looking for new ways to create affordable formal or informal corporate headshots to assist clients with their marketing and social media profiles.

It matters to me to build a relationship with you, and taking the time to get to know you creates trust between us so that you can feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. This will allow me to capture your real emotions giving you portraits that truly reflect your individual personality.
I am very passionate about what I do, it is always rewarding to creatively document portraits and give images to you to treasure forever.
Photography is all about capturing the moment, the emotion and the memories! I find inspiration in people and the world around us and I love documenting what I see, and I am lucky enough to work in a profession that allows me to indulge my passion.
I specialise in weddings, lifestyle, portraits, boudoir and commercial photography. When not in the studio or on location, I draw on ideas from new sources and classic films to keep my creativity refreshed. And now I have started blogging, I hope to share my experience and work with the world.
A little bit about me. I love being married to my best friend and treasure those little moments when he makes me laugh and brings me coffee in bed. I am fortunate to live in the inspirational countryside on the borders of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. I am known to be a little cheeky, very patient and I absolutely adore my fabulous family. Nothing makes me happier than hanging out with my family and friends, cooking a delicious Asian meal and spending the evening looking at a bunch of old photographs. I love collecting vintage cameras, travelling and spending hours soaking up textures, smells, people and architecture. I have trained with some of the best photographers in the world and have my Licentiateship with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
I can discuss your interests through email, a phone call and personal consultation thus ensuring my time, energy and creativity is put to work for you to create stunning imagery that preserves your special moments, forever. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than presenting finished images to my clients. I hope you can see that I love what I do. Get in touch and together we can capture your very own story!
